Celebrate Mother's Day at the Printing Museum!

In this half-day workshop, you will learn some history of letterpress printing, how to select wood type from the Museum’s collection, lock up a form in a chase, ink, and print. For this special Mother's Day workshop, students are invited to print custom posters with your mom, as a gift to a mother figure in your life or just for fun!

At the end of the class there will be a print exchange, in which you will take away a portfolio of prints made during the workshop. This workshop is hands-on and very active. All levels welcome!
