LETTERPRESS SURPLUS SALE & WAYZGOOSE
Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm
A “Wayzgoose” is a traditional celebration of printers going back to the 16th Century. Each year, the Museum continues this age-old event with our Letterpress Surplus Sale & Wayzgoose. The day will be filled with special tours, printing and book arts demonstrations, including large wood type posters!
The Wayzgoose is also the Printing Museum’s annual sale of surplus printing presses, type, printing cuts and more. This is a rare opportunity for hobbyists, amateurs, and professionals to purchase antique printing presses and supplies, including Heidelberg Windmill presses, Vandercooks, platens, paper cutters, table-top presses and more.
John Barrett of Letterpress Things (MA) will be presenting on the West Coast selling metal and wood type, printer's cuts and printing supplies!.
The sale and activities will be ongoing from 9 am to 4 pm. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the link below or at the door. $5 of your ticket can be credited to a purchase in the Museum’s surplus sale.
